Obituary:
Mae Frances Jackson, 80, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, November 13, 2020. Mae was born on October 1, 1940 in Wrightsville, GA to Christine and John Harden. Professionally, Mae was employed as a cook for several years with K-Mart.
Mae dedicated her life to service to her family and community. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her children and grandchildren to follow. Mae was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Wymon (Yvonne) Jackson, Mytrice Jackson, Forrestine Jackson, Forrest Jackson, Jr.; sisters, Betty Jean (William) Scott, Pauline Hudson; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, 2:00 PM at New Church of Faith, 5000 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Pastor Russ Beacham, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

My sweet Granny ( adopted you as Granny) thank you for always showing love and smiles when she saw us ( my kids and I) even coming up to your last days here. Guess there’s a certain type of peace that the almighty gives to those who love him and I know you loved him. So take rest our Queen , no more pain or sorrow! Forever in our heart π
