Obituary:

Pastor Terry Lee Smith, 64, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2020. Pastor Smith was born in Brady, TX to Bessie Mae and Samuel Smith, Jr. on August 22, 1956. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was called into ministry. He served as the esteemed Pastor of Christ Temple Evangelistic Pentecostal Church, Atmore, AL. After relocating to Florida, he led the congregation of Temple of Faith Evangelistic Pentecostal Church, Altamonte Springs, FL.

He met the former Ms. Cynthia Ann Williams Smith, the woman who became his wife and partner in ministry. Through ministry, he exhibited the concern, love and care of the Lord Jesus. Pastor Smith was devoted to spreading the gospel of Christ, serving people and family. He remained a warrior to the end and will be truly and deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Pastor Smith is survived by his loving wife and Co-Pastor. Cynthia Ann Smith; daughter, Chassidy Smith; son, Terry Smith; brothers, Bobby (Barbara) Smith, Samuel (Marjorie) Smith, III; 2 sisters, 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 4-6 PM at The Temple of Faith EPC, 860 Campello Street, Altamonte Springs. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, 10:00AM at New Life Church of God in Christ, 3311 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Apostle S.D. James, officiating. Final services and burial will take place under the direction of Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy, AL.

    My cousin I will truly miss you it has been such a long time but I remember when we were kids we won dance contests we played mud cakes at Granny’s house it’s just so much I want to say I wished I had came home more often I’ve just been sick quite a bit but my friend and cousin I will love you always please remember I will love you always I know it’s in your soul and I know you will remember me and your soul I give condolences to my family his sisters his brother and the rest of the family you might not remember me as Juanita McClinton but you used to call me Joe I’m a Jones Juanita Joe Jones I love you guys and I hope to see you before my time comes and I wish I could have saw you Terry I would love to come see you now but my doctors won’t let me travel as always I’ve been so sick lately and I haven’t been a bad person so in this life of the next we will see each other again forever your cousin and forever my love to all Jo
