Obituary:
Mother Frances L. Jennings, 83, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. She was born on November 9, 1936 in Hogansville, GA to the late Beatrice and Jimmie Davis. She was a member of Trinity Temple COGIC, serving under the leadership of Elder Harvey L. Marshall in several capacities until her health declined. In her professional career, she was a certified nurses assistant.
Mother Jennings dedicated her life to service to her family and community. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the Jennings family, who instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Mother Jennings was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her: daughters, Patricia Cameron-Bromfield, Jean Jennings, Renee Jennings, Stephanie (Antonio) Jones; son, Jerry (Quentina) Jennings; brother, Charlie C. (Merrile) Grissom; 13 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, 11:00 AM at New Life Church of God in Christ, 3311 N. Powers Drive, Orlando. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
