Obituary:
Marilyn Anita Spencer Neil, 72, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Marilyn was born in Eatonville, FL on December 23, 1946 to M. Lenora Spencer and Woodrow. In 1964, she graduated from Hungerford High School in Eatonville where she attended with her siblings. She continued her studies at Hampton Junior College in Ocala, FL.
Marilyn dedicated her life to helping and educating others. After brief employment with the Eatonville Police Department where she was a dispatcher, Marilyn began working with the Orange County Headstart Program as a Teacher. She was graciously recognized by the county for over 40 years of service to the program and community.
Marilyn was a member of the Life Center Church in Eatonville and believed that with God,anything is possible. She was the proud mother of 3 children. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed shopping, early morning garage sales, football, and most of all spending time with her family. Her kindness and love to others will forever resonate in our hearts.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Arnell (Cynthia) Spencer; daughters, Lisa Spencer and Monica Grace; sisters, Natalie Spencer, Karena Young; brothers, David (Patricia) Spencer, Ronald Spencer; 9 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, 11:00AM at Life Center Church, 63 E. Kennedy Boulevard, Eatonville with Evangelist Deborah Stafford, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Community Cemetery, Eatonville.

Your mom Marilyn and my mom Mary Barnes are still will be sisters in Christ. They were special.. because they chose each other outside of bloodlines, to be like: ” SISTERS TOO EACH OTHER” MY MOM and DAD, William Barnes , LOVED YOU ALL..OUR WHOLE FAMILY DID and still.do..
ALL MY LOVE TOO YOU GUYS …ARNELL…LISA..AND MONICA… CHERISH LIFE BUT DO NOT CLING TO IT..IT IS OUR FATHER WHO CALLS US HOME WHENEVER AND WHEREVER HE SEES FIT..Just be ready when you are called .
YOU HAVE JUST INHERITED AN 😇angel above ..continue too make her proud of you ..these feelings hurt yes…but it truly turns into fond memories..I am praying for us all .

Miss spencer was a dear friend of my mother and family so her passing has deeply touched us. I will always remember how close she and i was when i was a teenager and her funny sense of humor. A great woman who will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family Lisa, arnell, monica, karina, Nat and Ronnie.
