Obituary:
Roy Davis, 83, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Roy was born on December 7, 1935 to Maud Smith in St. Mary, Jamaica WI. He was employed as a signal engineer for the New York Subway Company for several years. He was a loving father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Roy is survived by his sons, Eldon S. Davis, Garth Davis, Kashmir Davis; daughters, Rose Marie Whyte, Shavon Davis, Deidre Davis-Dungee; 6 grandchildren; and a host siblings, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Jimmie Howard Sr., officiating. Interment: Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL.
