Obituary:

Curtis Dupree Killings, 29, Orlando, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Curtis was born on June 29, 1990 in Orlando, Florida to Joyce Massey and Jay C. Killings. He graduated in the class of 2008 from Edgewater High School. Curtis was a former student of Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona Beach, where he was striving to earn a degree in Mass Communications. He was an active member of New Bethel AME Church, Orlando, where he participated on the Youth usher board, “Men of Tomorrow” club, and was presented as a 2007 Christian Master from the AME Church, Central Conference. He played Pop warner football and played in High School. Curtis was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Curtis is survived by his beloved mother, Joyce Massey; father, Jay (Timeka) Killings; brother, Deshawn Massey; sisters, Briana and Kamryn Killings; siblings, Leondrah, Kimberly, Leon Jr., Tyeshia Massey, Rashaad Hamilton; paternal grandmother, Wilhelmenia McCray; and a host other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, 1:00 PM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor Ronald Williams, Sr., officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
