Obituary:
Ruby L. Poole, 101, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Ruby was born on February 9, 1924 in Monticello, Florida to the late Ollie Osbourne and Troy Blue Sr.
Ruby was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to caring for people. In her spare time, Ruby enjoyed walking in her neighborhood, gardening, and cooking. She was a devoted aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ruby leaves her precious memories with a devoted niece/caregiver, Patricia Brown; a special nephew, Tony L. Brown; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 10AM until services begin at 11:00AM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Interment: Dade City Cemetery, Dade City, FL.

Ruby was my very special friend for more than fifty years. She used to come to my house on tuesday and be my psychologist and helper. She was really like a second mama to me!! I loved her dearly, and I’ll never forget how she told me about Jesus Christ her Lord and Savoir. She sang a song one time called.It’s gonna be grand. She told me the song was about heaven and she said it’s gonna be grand!! I will miss her terribly, but I will always remember her.
God bless Pat Brown and Tony. She always spoke so kindly and dearly about them.
