Obituary:

Otis Odum Jr., 71, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, January 9, 2026. Otis, affectionately known as Noonie, was born on September 9, 1951 in Winter Garden, Florida to the late Hilda and Otis Odum Sr. He was a dedicated truck driver with the City of Orlando for several years.

Otis was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He cared for and loved all of his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Otis leaves to cherish his memory: 4 daughters; 3 siblings, Emanuel Odums, Ruth Quarterman, Jeanette Sledge; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 3-4 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 4:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
