Obituary:
Mary Lue Ella Jenkins Murphy, 89, of St. Cloud, departed this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Mary Lue was born on July 14, 1936 in Eastman, GA to the late Mellownee and Herbert Jenkins Sr. Mary Lue spent her life being a caring and nurturing woman. Her genuine spirit, kindness, and compassionate care brought comfort, warmth, and dignity to everyone in her presence.
In her personal life, she found joy in baking, cooking, and sewing. She was known for her creativity, nurturing heart, and the light she brought into every room. Mary Lue was a true light to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her 7 siblings, Dorothy (Paul) Rieck, Patricia Jenkins, William R. Jenkins, Willie J. Jenkins, Hattie M. Jenkins, Joe A. Jenkins, Moses J. Jenkins; 7 grandchildren; along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, 10:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Minister Dewitt Troup, officiating. Interment: Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL.
