Obituary:

Kissoon Lall Baldeo, 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Kissoon Lall Baldeo was born on September 9, 1947 in Georgetown, Guyana to his parents Gangandai and Archie Baldeo. Kissoon and his wife migrated to Maryland in 1984, and then moved to Orlando in 1985. He attended West Orange Vo-Tech. He worked as a surveyor for Mohammed Excavations. Other career positions included working at Carmax, Burger King and Mills Works.

Kissoon enjoyed playing dominos with his old time buddies and family from back home. He also enjoyed joking around and loved attending church. He loved watching old time Western movies, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He taught many people how to drive. He was also known for keeping a clean home.
He was preceded by his father, mother, daughter, sister, and brothers.
We will always remember Kissoon’s infectious laugh and his generous spirit. He touched so many lives. One thing about Kissoon, if he liked you, he would make some rough jokes with you.

Kissoon is survived by his wife, Gytri (Jean) Baldeo; two children, Chandra Baldeo and Devendranauth (Savita Julie) Baldeo; brothers, Anand (Lalita) Baldeo and Krishna (Shanta) Baldeo; sister, Indra (Leonard) Khan; grandchildren, Ryan Ali, Chelsey Ali, Carina Ali, Sasha Baldeo, Elizabeth Baldeo; He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Rishi, Mahendra, Trisha, David, Geetangali, Bobby, Punie, Jimmy and Vishal. Also, Devika, Vijay, Johnny, Avinash, Anand, Regina, Michael, Ravi and Maria. In-laws: Lynette, Buddy (Carmen), Baby (Kazim), Mashi (Zam) Vinod (Pamela), Padmani (Georgie) and Savo (Naresh). Cousins: Rudy, Bib, Haripaul, Mina, Data, and many other cousins. He spent a lot of time with his neighbors, Sandra (Trixie), Ann, Mary, Paul, Randy and Janet. He is survived by a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 4-PM at the mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, 3:00 P.M. at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
