Obituary:

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Josephine Hudson Wright, who left this world on April 21, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on October 15, 1952, in Orlando, FL, Josephine brought warmth, laughter, and joy to everyone she encountered. She was a cherished sister, aunt and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

A lifelong resident of Orlando, Florida, Josephine was known for her radiant smile and vibrant personality. She had a passion for shopping and travelling. She found joy in expressing herself creatively and took pride in looking and feeling her best. Josephine’s voice was as beautiful as her spirit, and she loved to sing, filling hearts with warmth through her melodies.

Josephine valued the bonds she formed with her friends and family, always making time to create meaningful memories. Her infectious laughter and genuine kindness touched all who knew her. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved—a rare gift that left an indelible mark on everyone around her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her siblings, Gertrude Wade, Thomas (Carolyn) Hudson; special niece/caregiver, Vicki (William) Barnes; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

A service of memory will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.

    My sincere condolences to her family and friends. I have know Josephine for years and Everytime I have seen her she always was a joy to talk to. Worked with her for years at Disney World . My heart is sad to hear of her passing. She will truly be missed 🙏🏿❤️

    Jo was a beautiful, kind, , loving and Beautiful Lady. Met her at The Amcet on Ferguson in Orlando. Beautiful beautiful Lady. SHOUT OUT TO HER DEVOTED, KIND AND LOVING NEIGHBOR “MARY” & Her kids & grandkids who took care of her from “sun rrisee to sundown faithfully.     I worked with Joephine, “Miss Jo” in the Magic Kingdom back in the 1990’s. She was a very special person and well loved in our work area. This was when she was at Hall of Presidents. She always had an energetic greeting for everyone. My condolences to her family and friends.

With that being said, we offer our deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire Hudson Family as you/we celebrate the life and legacy of your/our beloved “Jo” – “Josie” – Josephine!
