Obituary:

Freddie Mae Carter, 97, of Casselberry, Florida departed this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Freddie Mae was born on April 15, 1928 in Selma, Alabama to the late Alice Lee Calhoun.

Freddie Mae was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Freddie Mae leaves her precious memories with her loving daughters, Barbara A. (Michael) Dapaah, Alfreda Carter; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 3:00PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Terence R. Gray, I, officiating.
