Obituary:

Edward Kingsley Jarvis, 87, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at home in Apopka, FL. Edward was born December 6, 1937 in Swetes Village, St. Paul’s Parrish, Antigua and Barbuda, West Indies. He was born to John Edgar and Catherine Amy Messiah Jarvis. Edward attended to his primary education at Swetes Primary School and other education in the masonry trade. He was united in marriage to Inger Fleming Jarvis on December 26, 1959. Edward and Inger had 9 children. Edward and his family immigrated to the United States in 1982 and settled in Titusville, Florida where he and his wife resided for more than forty years.

Edward was a member of the Weslyan Holiness denomination from birth until 1975 and a member of the Church of the Nazarene from 1975 until his death. Most recently, he was a founding member of The Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Titusville, Florida.

He was predeceased in death by his parents John and Catherine Jarvis; daughter, Emris Marissa Jarvis; and siblings Rose Jarvis, George Jarvis, Olive Jarvis Smith, Charles S. Jarvis, Keturah Jarvis Peters, Iris Jarvis Lewis and Theodore Jarvis.

Edward is survived by his wife, Inger; eight children Edward-Marcus (Carren), Erbayne (Deborah), Condace (Tony, Sr.), Delacy (Andre), Fitzpatrick, Kingsley (Andrea), Lois and Kathlene (Dion); sister, Florence Jarvis; 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5-7PM at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 1405 Queen Street, Titusville, Fl. The celebration of life for Edward Kingsley Jarvis will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Great Outdoors Community Church located at 144 Plantation Drive, Titusville, Florida. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to The Calvary Nazarene Church (Titusville, FL). Donate to Change Lives

    Farewell my dear Uncle Kings! You will be missed on this side, but I’m sure that there is a grand reunion with your parents, siblings and daughter, I know you are baskimg in the love of your Lord and Saviour, all in the presence of the God you served so faithfully. Rest well Uncle Kingsley until we meet again.
