Obituary:

Donnie Garmany, 68, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, May 19, 2025. Donnie was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 18, 1957 to the late Lena Garmany and Larry MacChristian. After completing his formal education, Donnie entered the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1981. After his military career, Donnie held several occupations throughout his life and ultimately became a factory laborer.

Donnie was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He cared for and loved all of his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR races, and sports. He was a die hard fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Donnie leaves to cherish his memory: loving sister, Sabrina (Anthony) Sammons; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, 5:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Interment will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, 9:30 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL with full military honors.
