Obituary:
Calvin Hubert White Sr., 82, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Calvin was born on March 20, 1943 in Statesboro, GA to the late Ruby Mobley and Collins White. Calvin was a veteran of the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1965. He was later employed with Greyhound Bus Line in the department of transportation logistics.
Calvin was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He always taught his children how to be strong and resilient. He was a die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Aside from sports, he also enjoyed fishing and watching boxing. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Calvin is survived by children, Deidre D. White and Calvin H. White Jr.; brother, Larry Mobley; sister, Brenda Williams; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 11:00AM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor Wendell Webster, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka with full military honors.

It was an honor to have Calvin again at our latest Family Reunion.Even in his suffering he gave us an opportunity to be a final part of his life. I pray that we all recognize that his humility to be transparent is an example we should all embrace. We will miss you Calvin.
