Obituary:
Nigel “Pops” Harvey, 77, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Nigel was born on July 28, 1948 in Kingston, Jamaica, WI. Nigel later relocated to the United States and settled in Orlando, FL.
Nigel was a jack-of-all- trades. He spent most of his career in masonry and construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, particularly Tupac Shakur. What gave him the most joy in life was being with his grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Jafet (Leslie) Harvey; 4 siblings, Shirley Harvey, Wesley Harvey, Beverly Harvey, Vilma Harvey; 6 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
