Obituary:

Samuel James Cobaris, 78, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Samuel was born on July 8, 1947 in Ocala, Florida to the late Viola and Samuel Cobaris. He served the Lord with all his heart as a faithful member of Livingston Street Church of God, Orlando. After completing his formal education, he enlisted in the US Army, and retired as a staff sergeant in 1989. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret W. Cobaris; 2 sisters, Corine (Charlie) Walker, Lorine (Roger) Walker; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 3-5 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, 10:00AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Bishop Kelvin L. Cobaris,
officiating. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with full military honors.
