Obituary:
Willie Mae Williams, 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Willie Mae was born on October 6, 1939, in Eufaula, Alabama, to the late Levi Jackson and Armie Lee Strong Jackson.
Willie Mae was a dedicated and hardworking woman who proudly served at the Hyatt Hotel in Orlando, Florida, for over 30 years before retiring. Her work ethic and warm spirit touched everyone she met. A devoted member of Community Baptist Church, Willie Mae loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she served her church family faithfully and with great love.
Willie Mae found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved watching TV, shopping, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her smile was ever-present, and her light shone brightly wherever she went, uplifting those around her.
Her sister, Annie Lee Jackson, who passed away just three days after Willie Mae, shared a deep and unbreakable bond with her. Their love for each other brought them together in spirit, even in their final moments.
Willie Mae is survived by her brothers Jerry Jackson of Auburndale, Florida, and Eric Jackson of North Carolina; and her sisters Cherry Jackson and Lula Jackson, both of Orlando, Florida; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished her dearly. Willie Mae leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and faith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 9AM until services begin at 10:00AM at A Community Baptist Church, 651 Campanella Avenue, Orlando with Pastor Alfred Moore, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
