Obituary:

Willie Lee Allen, 73, Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Willie was born on August 2, 1948 in Americus, GA to the late Hattie and Charles Allen. Willie was employed as a custodian with Orange County Public Schools for several years. He was a faithful member of Pine Hills Community Church, Orlando, where he served on the Usher Board. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1970. He was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Willie Lee was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Rachel Allen; children, Reginald O. (Karrie) Hosey, Jocelyn Hosey; siblings, Charles Allen Jr., Alexander (Jean) Allen, Mona Lisa (Vance) Allen-Ross, Lenward (Carol) Allen; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, 10:00 AM at Pine Hills Community Church, 1305 N. Pine Hills Road, Orlando. Interment: Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL with full military honors.

    Our heartfelt condolences to the family during this period of sadness. Mr. Allen had a heart of gold. He was a very good friend to to my family. Rest peacefully my brother. To God be the glory.

    Uncle Willie you will be missed all your nieces and nephews love you so much. Thank for being best Uncle. I’m glad you came to my wedding 4 years ago. Just came see you in May. Now your gone! This hurt 😞 so much we had good laughs. Think about you just love ❀️ you . Thank everyone for loving our uncle!

    Uncle I Love u and will be missed dearly. I have so more wonderful memories of u living in New York and I Florida. U were always our happy go lucky Uncle who knew how to put a smile on anybody face. U are loved by every one who knew u. U will be greatly missed by ur remaining brothers, sister and all ur nieces and nephews. I know u in Heaven hosting a Comedy Show because that’s the type of person u were.     Our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Allen our hearts are sadden as we heard of his departure but the Word says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord .prayers are with the family πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½.
