Obituary:

William T. “TC” Curry, Jr., 80, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, November 24, 2024. “TC”, as he was affectionately known, was born on December 6, 1943 to Melba and William Curry Sr. Professionally, he was employed as a maintenance engineer for Walt Disney.

“TC” was an active and faithful member of Mt. Pleasant MB Church, Orlando, serving in whatever capacity was needed. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

William leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving wife, Cora Lee Curry; 4 daughters, Trienta Curry, Pamela Curry, Tangela Scott, Tammy Jackson; brothers, Rev. David (Annie Ruth) Jackson, Brazil Thomas; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4724 Raleigh Street, Orlando. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, 10:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 4077 Prince Hall Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor J. Roy Morrison, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
