Obituary:

Waymon Gene Hamilton, Sr., 64, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Waymon, affectionately called ‘Blackie’ by his family, was born on December 16, 1957 in Edison, GA to Nizia B. and Williard Hamilton, Sr. He worked as a fork lift operator with Taylor Farms Warehouse Company for several years. He was a dedicated and diligent employee with Taylor Farms at the time of his demise.

Waymon was always well dressed and stylish. He looked good in any color he chose to wear. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and friends, and above all else, watching sports. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Waymon leaves to cherish his memories: 2 sons, Waymon, Jr. and Waynell Hamilton; 2 daughters, Catisha Gardner, Faith Hamilton; 8 siblings, Willie, Johnnie, Torris, and Ruby Dee Hamilton, Maybell Anderson, Bertha Price, Virginia Ford, Betty Postell; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, 11:00AM at New Life COGIC, 3311 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Pastor Willie King, officiating.
