I’ve know Uly for over 40 years…we were best friends in high school and was my college roommate. Never was there a kinder more gentle soul. He was liked by anyone whom he met and would share his smile to brighten every room he entered. I can honestly say I never saw him angry. Heaven has received an Incredible soul…love you brother.

The loss of such a great person will be felt by everyone that has been touched by Ulys giant heart and warm compassion. I personally have never met a man so balanced and equal as him. I personally will never forget him and the many experiences shared. I had the honor of working with him at the House of Blues NOLA, and will never forget the good times and lessons learned from him.

Uly was such a wonderful co-worker and friend. He always radiated positive energy and his smile is unforgettable. I send my deepest sympathies to his family and all his loved ones.
My deepest condolences to the entire Dyson family. Like many, I had the unique opportunity to work with Uly at the House of Blues in New Orleans. His strength of character was on display every day that he worked, whether he was deescalating bad situations or instilling courage in others, Uly was respectful and strong. I oftened wonder where he gained such internal strength. I am sure it came from his family. Thank you for sharing him with the world.
I met Uly through my sister Audrey when we were in high school and Uly and I became very close friends with a deep bond, He mentored me and took care of me when we were out of high school and I enjoyed every moment of our time together. He was sunshine with that big smile of his and I called him Uly Bear because he gave the best big, bear hugs. He was such a kind, loving, gentle soul. My heart felt condolences and love go out to his mama and family. Uly will always be loved and missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Beautiful smile for a wonderful man. So sorry you left us so early in your life. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
He will be missed! Unfortunately we had not seen each other since Highschool graduation but I have thought of him often.
My condolences to Uly’s family and loved ones. I was lucky to have met Uly in our younger days working at EPCOT together. His deep laughter and those great bear hugs could brighten the darkest days. He was a kind and gentle soul. How blessed the world is for those of us to have crossed his path. He truly was one of the great ones. I am so sorry for your loss.

My heart grieves with you, Evelyn, in the loss of your son. There is no greater pain that to look down on a child. Mamy have walked this road. But, we who know God, also know that He will sustain and keep us in His grace and care. Blessings to you and Barbara during this time. Always remember the good times you shared together – the trips and travel, etc. Take care and pray much. He is at peace now. HBB
