Obituary:

Ulysees Tyre, Sr., 67, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Ulysees, affectionately called Bo, was born on June 16, 1954 in Selma, AL to the late Elizabeth and Randolph Tyre. Ulysees served honorably in the US Army. After his military service, he worked as a general contractor, specializing in sheet metal. In his spare time, Bo enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonovia (Jermaine) Tyre-Maple; son, Ulysses (Angel) Tyre, Jr.; siblings, Arthur Tyre, Annie Leacock, Rosa Summers, Lemon Tyre, and Alberta Tyre-King; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 4:00PM until services begin at 6:00PM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.

    Sorry to hear of Bo’s passing .Our prayers are with the entire family during this very difficult time SincerelyColvin and Terri Arnold Bo and I were classmates in the class of 72 at LCTS.
