Obituary:
Sybil Easy, 87, of Orlando, fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Monday, June 9, 2025. We remember Sybil Easy—a woman of faith, strength, and love. Born on April 28, 1938 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, she built a life rooted in family and perseverance alongside her late husband, Lester Easy. Her journey between Jamaica and England reflected her deep connections to both places and the people she cherished.
She is survived by her children: Renford, Cherry-Rose, Barbara, Glen, and Stephen; grandchildren: Rene, Dominee, Omar, Tariq, Gerome, Alicia, Deanna, Melyce, Aonton, and Kai; and great-grandchildren: Liam, Aubrey, and Karim.
Sybil’s legacy of love, resilience, and faith lives on in each of them and all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at Church of the Messiah Episcopal Church, 241 N. Main Street, Winter Garden with Pastor Yvette Leachman, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
