Obituary:
Stephen V. Gordon, 40, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, November 25, 2022. Stephen was born in Miami, FL, to the late Vernal and Angella Gordon on October 10, 1982. He was known as a forgiving, loyal, loving son, brother, and friend.
In Miami, Stephen attended Flanagan High School. Though he did not complete school during his teen years, Stephen earned his GED and an AA Degree in Culinary Arts from Keiser University in Tallahassee in 2012. During his time in Tallahassee, he worked as a cook at FSU’s University Center Club, and AJ’s Sports Bar, among other restaurants. In 2014, Stephen moved to Atlanta, GA, to continue working in the culinary field before making his final move to Orlando in 2017. Until his untimely passing, Stephen worked as a cook for Lowe’s Royal Pacific Hotel in Orlando.
Stephen was passionate about his family and close friends. He cared deeply about their happiness, and he would never hesitate to give what he could to help. He was known for listening, providing sage advice, and a great “Dad” joke when one’s spirits were down. His sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Stephen is survived by his four siblings, Sonia Gordon, Shelley-Ann (Clyde) Baker, Sheldon (Latavia) Gordon, Kayla Gordon, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 1 PM until services begin at 2 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando, with Minister Karen Bromfield, officiating.

My deepest condolences 💐
My step- brother Stephen and I were the closet. From always being there for each other, me protecting him from bullies and making sure everyone in high school knew that he was my brother so no one messed with you. To making sure you had from at Flanagan and Christian school.
To handing out on the block and playing ding- dong ditch and Man hunt at night.
From you having crushes on my best friends and you keeping the boys away from me.
We were inseparable.
Until we grew apart in our adult stages in life.
Stephen has a heart of gold, that was too pure for this world.
He was a big misunderstood teddy bear.
I will miss our 2 hour long phones calls, our reminiscing and our jokes.
You will be greatly missed. I hope you’re resting in the love and peace your soul has always longed for.
Til we meet again, my sweet and dearest lil bro.
