Obituary:

Sharon Elizabeth Franklin, 50, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. ‘Shay’, as she was affectionately called, was born on May 28, 1974 to Marilyn McNabb and Jimmie A. Franklin. Professionally.

Shay enjoyed playing video games and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children, Kenyatetta E. Franklin, Latravius Franklin, Shymia E. Franklin; 3 siblings, Ophelia McNabb, Tabitha Franklin, Nathan Franklin; special aunt, Dorothy (Michael) Moise; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, 3:00PM at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 915 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden with Pastor Ronald H. Brown, officiating.
