Obituary:

Shakonda M. “KATE” Bell, 41, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Shakonda, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on April 16, 1980 to Velma Bell and Jeffrey Faulk. Kate was well loved by her family and she enjoyed spending quality time with her many nieces and nephews. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kate leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Velma Bell; father, Jeffrey Faulk; sisters, Cheryl (James) Burr, Shanita Thompson, Perisha Thompson; brothers, Charlie (Christina) Bryant, Joshua (Linda) Faulk, Charles (Nicole) Hayes; devoted friends, Shakenya Evans and LaShawanda Johnson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4PM-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1:00 PM at Ball’s Temple First Born Church of the Living God, 1977 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Bishop Gary Cohen Sr., officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

    My heart goes out to the family, Kate was inspiration to us here
    at work, she’s was of those type ppl who was radiant, no matter what type of mood u were in she would just make you just laugh and that’s how I would remember her as, and yes indeed she knew the Lord we would talk about Him on many occasions and she was just an all around good person…

    Kate and I were child hood friends we lived across the street from each other she always had such a big heart and a even bigger smile I don’t know if anything ever bothered that girl if it did she never complained and she was always respectful, we grew apart when I moved but when she came by it was always love to me and Hi Mr and Ms Williams we all going to miss u Kate ❣️ I love u my dear friend until we meet again keep smiling down on it family especially them babies and Josh
