Iam so sorry to hear this Ben was the best friend a person could ever have I will miss all ours talks and visits RIP my dear friend
Thank you Uncle Ben for giving me some of the best memories of my entire life. I will never forget everything you taught me about family and unconditional love. You were our Family Patriarch. You held us together and made it look so effortless and easy. You gave us instructions and showed us what family was all about. You really showed us what living the American dream looked like. Thank you for being the best Uncle, friend and father figure. I love you and I’m sure going to miss you.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m praying for your heart that is hurting. We will miss you Uncle Ben. Rest in peace until we meet again. Love you.
Rest my friend, I will truly miss you and all the holiday cooking you prepared for us, as well as, repairing my car when I was in dire need of a mechanic. God sent us a true Soldier that didn’t mind fighting, helping, or working for his people. May God give the McKenzie Family comfort and peace during this time. Rest in peace Mr. Ben a/k/a “Joe Bar and Grill”.
Rest in peace Grandad 🤍
Thank you for over 10 years of fireworks , Easter egg hunts , and lighting up the house for the Kids ! Thank you for all of the weekly family dinners and for your guidance and continued love .
We will miss you.
Ben is always on my mind this time of year. Because we always got his muscle cat calendar with our Christmas card. It’s been a while since the last one was sent when he retired…one of the hardest things he did. He loved the people he worked with and was always available to lend a helping hand. He was a loyal and compassionate man. Despite his hard-fast opinions about some things, he didn’t turn away from someone who thought differently. I loved his sense of humor. It was the kind that left wondering for a moment, “Is he messing with me?” He loved his family and seemed to be the anchor for them all. There’s no doubt they will all deeply miss him, and I pray that their grief is tempered by the memories their time together. I wish that we could be with you all as you celebrate his life and home going. I love you all, and I am blessed for having known Ben Mckenzie!
PS: It was a muscle car calendar.
