Extending condolences to Presiding Elder and Mrs Byrd and family. Praying God’s covering and keeping over each of you during this time.
Presiding Elder Retired, Dr. J. Leander Byrd, Mrs. Geraldine Byrd, and Family,
During your time of sorrow in the loss of your beloved daughter, Serena Elizabeth Byrd,
who transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home, may knowing that others share the loss you bear be a comfort to you now and in the days, ahead.
While you grieve her passing, you may take comfort in the words of the Apostle Paul, Thessalonians 4:13-14: “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
“May the God of all comfort sustain you during the days ahead.” Psalms 119:76”
In sympathy and in prayer,
Mrs. Ora L. Easley, International Administrator,
