Sarah Coleman McGee, 84, of Orlando, entered her eternal rest on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Sarah was born on August 20, 1940 in Albany, Georgia to the late Carrie and Henry Coleman Sr.

After graduating high school, she entered the workforce and retired from hotel hospitality after many years of dedicated service.
Sarah loved the Lord, her life, her family, and the church. She was an active member of Hurst Chapel AME Church, Orlando, where she served in various capacities for over 60 years, namely as a stewardess. In her spare time, Sarah enjoyed bowling and spending quality time with her grand and great grandchildren. She was a faithful and willing servant who instilled love, wisdom and Christian values for her family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend with a heart of gold who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sarah leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends, regardless of race, creed or color, just loved by all. She is survived by her 4 children, Johnnie (Sheila) McGee Jr., Terence (Patricia) McGhee, Sheron McGee, Yolanda (Willie) McGee-Morgan; 1 sister, Bernice (Russell) Dariso; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family and many friends.

Peace in Paradise Auntie. I’m going to miss you like crazy and I’m sorry my son Udai didn’t get the chance to meet you but I’m glad my daughter Ummia did get the chance to. I love you so much & please watch over us with your sisters and brothers in heaven. Tell my Grandma Fannie all about the years she has missed down with us. The suffering for you is gone but our hearts are suffering without having you here with us. 💔💞💖
