Mrs. Tucker has always been one the the kindest persons I have ever met. She ensured that all students received the support and attention they deserved. The students, teachers, and staff at Evans High School will miss you, and they send their love. I personally loved working with you. You brought out the good in me.

    Love you,

    James

I just want the family members to know that Ruth was a wonderful lady with a beautiful smile.and a dedicated educational focus at Evans, which is where we met. We spoke almost daily, and I found her love for the students and adults reflected in her words and deeds. She will be greatly missed.

I was a co-worker of Ruth at EHS. We,(her husband, too) also, enjoyed senior trip to Martha’s vineyard. The last time I talked to her was at the EHS Retirees Luncheon. A sweet spirit is with the Lord. Praying for family.

When I came to Evans H School, Ruth was already there and welcomed me with open arms. She was a pleasure to work with and was always coming into the Library Media Center. One day her daughter came into the Media Center to find her mom. It’s funny the things you remember. Her daughter was taking Russian and she had her write some of it for us. She was so smart and her mother was so proud of her. Rest In Peace- you have had a wonderful job being a mother, wife, educator, Christian and friend to all. God Bless you and your family🙏

… Mrs. Ruth Tucker was one the kindest persons at Maynard Evans High School. I remember how she welcomed me with open arms, when I transferred to EHS and continued to support and at times push me throughout my senior year. She took stock in me; recognized and validated my greatness —not just me, but for countless EHS Alumni.

You brought out the BEST out of me and all that were blessed to cross your path or walk into your office.

    G’Night Mrs. Ruth Tucker 🕊🕊🕊
