I was a neighbor to the Hicks family for many many years! Ruby was always so kind to the Demetre Homes community… She not only talked the talk of Jesus Christ, but she walked the spiritual walk! I have many fond laughing memories of Ruby, she loved people and I truly loved her! Ruby you are now resting, no more pain, no more doctors! You alright now❤️
I met Ruby’over 40 years ago. Our husband’s worked together and we became friends. She was a very loving, sweet and kind person. She always made you laugh when around her. She let her light shine and is now resting in God’s arms.

Our prayers for your family. Praying God comfort you in this time. Sending our deepest condolences to the family.
i truly enjoyed all of our visits together. The joy of the Lord was your strength. I loved your hunger for God’s word and the Love you had for family. I am grateful to God that you were part of my life. Thank your for all the laughter and tears we shed together/apart and for letting be part of your family. You were a good friend, I can see that big smile of yours. Ruby let her life speak for her. Lisa and David look and listen to what the life you are living is saying. What story will it tell? Your mother’s life told of her love for Christ and the faith she had in Jesus , God’s power and resurrection. Make sure your life says the same and walk in that same love Ruby had..
May God keep you both and the family, giving you comfort and peace during this transitional time.
Love you, Nana
To the family, please know you’re in my prayers.
