Obituary:
Roslyn Rosemary Gittens-Whiteway, 85, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Roslyn was born on February 4, 1940 in San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago to the late Rita and Joseph Frank. Professionally, Roslyn worked as a beautician for several years.
Roslyn was a woman of great wisdom. She dedicated her life providing for her beloved family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her family to follow. In her spare time, she loved gardening. Roslyn was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. She was a devoted mother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories to her devoted daughter, Portia Whiteway; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Arnold Porter, officiating.
