Obituary:

Robert Wayne “Bobby Love” Gould, Sr., 87, of Auburndale, FL departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Robert was born on November 21, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Robert Gould and Phyllis Carter. Professionally, Robert excelled as an insurance salesman, as well as being an entrepreneur, owning his own bar in Tampa called “KoKo’s”.

Robert was an honest, straight forward, caring and respectable man who put God and his family first. He loved playing golf, listening to the blues, Notre Dame Football team, and smoking his cigars. He was a great teacher, provider and a true man of to his family and community. Robert was a devoted father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bobby Love, as he was affectionately called, leaves to cherish his memories: son, Robert Gould Jr.; daughter, Muriel Rose Hannah; 2 grandsons, Roderick and Alex Gould; 1 granddaughter, Lori; 2 great grandsons, Roman and Xavier; nephew, Martin; nieces, Beverly, Kim; a host of other relatives and many friends who called him “Pops”.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, 10:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
