Obituary:

Robert G. Dawsey, 55, of Ocoee, departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025. Robert, affectionately known as ‘Big Rob’, was born on July 25, 1969 in Dothan, AL to Robbie Dawsey and the late John L. Dawsey. Professionally, Robert worked as a warehouse transportation manager for several years.

Robert was a dedicated family man. He was an active and faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Winter Garden. Aside from his church involvement, Robert enjoyed grilling, watching basketball, eating at his favorite restaurants and attending family gatherings. He instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of his children and family to follow. Robert was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Big Rob is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Dawsey; 2 sons, Everett J. Dawsey, Warrick D. Dawsey; mother, Robbie Dawsey; 3 siblings, Sharon Dawsey, Danyell Dawsey, Renita Dawsey; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 915 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden with Reverend Dr. Clarence Taylor, officiating.
