Obituary:
Richard Ross Bacon, 80, departed this life on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Richard was born on August 7, 1940 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Marjorie and Ralph Bacon. Professionally, Richard worked as a diesel mechanic for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and he loved classic cars. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Jerre Bacon; sons, Richard Bacon, John Bacon; siblings, Ray Bacon, Virginia (Tom) Dewey, Ronny Bacon, Russ Bacon; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date and time.

Rest easy Papa your one of the kindest , smartest , selfless men ive ever had the opportunity to look up to. You went out of your way every day to help others if it were broken you had a tool to fix it, wish there were a tool to fix the hurt on all our hearts but we find peace knowing we will see you again one day. Papa you were the most kindhearted soul I knew, Thank you for always making me laugh and taking time for me. I looked up at how you looked at life with a smile everyday, even if things got hard. You were and still are truly an amazing person. I love you, till we meet again Papa.
