Obituary:

Randolph “Randy” Sloan, 75, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Randy was born on November 1, 1949 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Dorothy and Julius Sloan. He was a factory worker for several years before he retired.

Randy was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He was an active and dedicated member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, serving faithfully in whatever capacity was needed. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Michele R. Sloan; children: Starleen Laury, Ronald Postell; sisters, Juanita Rainey, Joyce (Robert) Gilmore; brothers, Ray (Kathy) Sloan, Gary (Barbara) Sloan, Ricky Sloan, Willie Hodges; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, 420 W. Hull Avenue, Oakland with Pastor John Donaldson, officiating. Interment: Oakland Community Cemetery, Oakland.
