Obituary:
Pauline Lavon Orr, 70, of Orlando departed this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Pauline was born February 27, 1954 in Ballston, New York to the late Willie and Mary Orr. She was a woman who radiated love, kindness, and faith in everything she did. Pauline was deeply devoted to the Lord, and her unwavering faith was the foundation of her life. She was a dedicated prayer warrior for her family and friends, always lifting them up in prayer and seeking God’s guidance and peace for those she loved. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart and soul into caring for and supporting them. Pauline was especially proud of her grandchildren, often sharing stories and talking about the joy they brought to her life. She loved to reminisce about their laughter, accomplishments, and the little moments that made her heart swell with pride.
Pauline had a deep love for animals, often bringing them into her life as companions. Whether it was her cherished pets or the neighborhood animals she would lovingly tend to, her kind heart extended to all creatures. She believed that animals brought a special kind of joy and peace to life, and her affection for them reflected her nurturing spirit.
In addition to her love for family and animals, Pauline had a passion for plants. She found peace and joy in tending to her garden, watching her plants grow and flourish, much like the love and care she gave to those around her. Pauline was also deeply committed to serving others. She was the founder of Helping Hands Ministry, a mission dedicated to feeding, clothing, and providing financial assistance to the less fortunate. She was a tireless advocate for those in need, always ready to lend a hand and make a difference in the lives of others. Through her ministry, Pauline touched many lives, showing the true meaning of compassion and selflessness, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit.
Her gentle spirit, infectious smile, and warm hugs brightened the lives of all who knew her. Whether it was through her laughter, dance moves, or her ability to make everyone feel loved, Pauline left an indelible mark on those around her. She had an amazing ability to find joy in the simplest moments, and her presence was a gift to all who had the honor of knowing her. Pauline loved life, loved people, and loved God with all her heart. Her legacy of love, faith, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her will forever miss her radiant presence and the love she gave so freely.
Pauline is survived by her 4 sons, George Schanck, Raphael Brown, Raboham Orr, Christian Orr; sisters, Cynthia Orr-Thompson, Sadie Rivera, Mae Ree Orr; companion, Parviz Shirazi; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many friends.
