Obituary:
Oretha Gandy, 70, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Oretha, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on March 23, 1950 to Mary and Ivan Jones. She was educated in Orange County Public Schools, and graduated from Jones High School, class of 1968. She employed for over 30 years as a Hotel Supervisor for Sheraton Twin Towers. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Oretha was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Oretha leaves to cherish her love and memories to her loving husband, Terry Gandy; daughters, Antoinette Paul, Tawanda Nickerson, Stacy Brown; son, Julius Mosley; sisters, Edna Gipson, Anna Jones; brothers, Ivan Jones, II, Ivan Jones; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Bishop Kelvin L. Cobaris, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

We will truly miss our niece. She was a beautiful wife and mother. We do not worry because she truly loved the Lord. We continue to pray for our nephew and their children. May the Lord give them peace and comfort their hearts at this time and the days to come.
