I am truly going to miss Ma Narvis. She was my other mom, my sports buddy, and my baking partner for a long time. I do not know what I am going to do now, knowing that she is not across the street anymore to discuss our many conversations. I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord….but this one hits hard. I love you Ma!! I will be praying for and with the family.
This an extremely hard loss for us. Narvis will be so deeply missed. We will miss her smile, infectious laugh and warm heart. She was truly special. Sending our deepest condolences and may God bless the family during this time of sorrow.
Narvis will not only be missed by her family; she will be sorely missed by her classmates from the Class of 70 at Jones High. We offer our deepest condolences to the family.
Narvis will truly be missed. She was a great motivation to many of the youth, my son was one of those children who she impacted. Narvis was a mother to him at Marshall’s were she worked part-time. Narvis took my son under her wing and with her toutlage he blossomed. I can’t express how much my family will miss her, we extend our sincerest condolences to the family.
I met Narvis, a kind, sweet, beautiful lady through Greg who was my co-worker and bragged about his mom’s cakes. I met a friend who I am going to miss terribly, but I am comforted knowing she is no longer in pain. May she continue to rest in God’s loving arms until we meet again.
I worked with Narvis at Orange Center Elementary in the 80’s. She was a happy person who made everyone’s day a little brighter.. She was devotion to our school, students and families. She often talked loving about her son, Gregory. We could always count on her to help us with any project or problem. Our world was sweeter with her love and devotion to all persons who crossed her path. Narvis will be greatly missed by all.
