Obituary:

Michael D. Thomas, Jr., 37, of Orlando, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Michael was born on November 20, 1986 in Orlando to Ruby T. Bolden and Michael A. Thomas.

“Boo”, as he was affectionately called, graduated from Freedom High School and loved football. At the time of his demise he was employed at a warehouse. “Boo” was very passionate about his role as a father, son, brother and friend. He approached each day with his head held high. He was loved by a multitude of family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Ashley Thomas; 5 children, Xavier, Akeelah, Michael, Marcus, and Dearius Thomas; father, Michael A. Thomas; mother, Ruby (William) Bolden;Β  siblings, Anthony Thomas, Tanesha Thomas, Marcus Thomas, Javohn Brown, Ashanta Thomas, Myasia Thomas, Giovanni Brown, William Hutto, Shaneka Hutto; a host of other relatives, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, 10:00 AM at New Jerusalem Church of God, 748 Carter Street, Orlando with Minister Tommy Thomas, officiating.
