Obituary:
Marlon Alanso Hewitt, 47, of Apopka, departed this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. On October 3, 1975, Marlon Alanso Hewitt was born to loving and caring parents, Basil and Gloria Hewitt. Growing up in the Soundview section of the Bronx in his early years, he developed an incredible gift of drawing. As he got older he attended Uniondale High School where he received his certificate in Commercial art at the Nassau Technological center. After graduation, he relocated to Florida to further his education in Commercial Art. Marlon attended Florida Metropolitan University, making the Dean’s list in 2000 and graduating with his Associates in Science degree in 2003. To those that knew Marlon, he was a very educated man who loved to share his wisdom and experience with others.
Marlon was a devoted father to his two wonderful children, Solomon and Zarriah Hewitt, as well as an extraordinary provider for his family. He was always present for family functions where he would share his experiences about life, culture, and various other topics.
He is survived by his children, Solomon and Zarriah Hewitt; mother, Gloria Hewitt; brother, Bryon Hewitt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 10:30AM at Church of the Holy Spirit, 601 S. Highland Avenue, Apopka with Dr. John Perry, officiating. Interment: Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka.

Marlon was a very,educated man that was well known and well loved by alot of people, near and far..His death was such a shock for me,because I was praying that his health improved,he had such a strong will to “LIVE” ESPECIALLY FOR HIS CHILDREN AND FAMILY. I PRAY THAT GOD GRANTS HIS FAMILY, PEACE,COMFORT AND STRENGTH DURING THIS TIME, WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT,BUT JOY,COMES IN THE MORNING…..
