Obituary:
Marian Baptiste, 86, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2020. Marian was born on December 24, 1933 to Victoria Phillips in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Marian was employed in house keeping for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Baptiste; son, Ashton (Ellenore) Baptiste; grandchildren, Jade, Shamar, and Alston Baptiste; great grandchildren, Wynter and Ethan; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:00AM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
