Obituary:
Marcus L. James, 57, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2022. Marcus, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on July 13, 1964 to Alice Greene and John James. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Evans High School. After graduating, he began working with Walt Disney as an entertainer. He loved travelling and spending time with his family and friends. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
He is survived by his loving mother, Alice Holmes; sisters, Karen Trammell, Lennett Holmes, Wilhelmina Columbus; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 12PM until services begin at 2:00PM, The Hope Church of Orlando, 3032 Monte Carlo Trail, Orlando with Pastor Keith Odom, officiating.

As I reflect on our last conversation, I’m saddened to hear of your transition.. You had called just to check up on me, and I looked forward to meeting up with you for laughs as always. I love you Marcus. You’ll be missed immensely.
RIP Marcus, you always had a kind heart, a loving personality, and a beautiful smile. You will greatly be missed. Praying for the family during their time of bereavement.
