Obituary:

Marcia M. Riley, 86, of Lake Mary, departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Marcia was born on August 7, 1933 in Anniston, Alabama to Willie Roberta and Elijah J. Marbury, Sr. Marcia dedicated her life to education, serving in the Public School System for over 30 years. Her career as a Math and Science teacher allowed her to impact the lives of students and colleagues at Jones High School, Mid Florida Tech and Colonial High School. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, educator and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marcia is survived by her son, Kevin Riley; daughters, Marcia Riley, Alicia Riley; sister, Antoinette (Frank) DaCruz; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, 11:00AM at Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2525 West Church Street, Orlando with Pastor Mark E. Crutcher, officiating. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
