Obituary:
Maggie Alene Wilkerson, 72, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025. Maggie, affectionately known as ‘Boot’, was born in Clinton, North Carolina on September 21, 1952 to the late Julia and James M. Bell. Professionally, Maggie worked as a machine operator with Amcor for several years until she retired.
She was a woman of integrity and strength with a commitment to serving God. She was a member of New Life Evangelistic Center of Orlando, where she served on the Outreach Ministry. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. In her spare time, Maggie enjoyed watching TV, sewing, spending time with her family. One of her main passions was cooking, and she along with her sisters, managed the MAP Catering Services. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughter, Julia Wilkerson; son, Corey Autry; siblings, Henry (Betty) Bell, Winifred Bell, Henderson (Kathy) Bell, Alvin Bass, Ollie Mae Brown; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM, New Life Evangelistic Center of Orlando, 432 N. Kirkman Road, Orlando with Pastor Clint White, officiating.
