Obituary:
M.D. Slaughter, 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, July 31, 2022. M.D. was born on February 28, 1937 in Florence, GA to the late Lula Mae and Milton Slaughter. M.D. was employed as a brick mason for several years.
M.D. was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted, respectable Christian man. He raised all of his kids with values and morals. He always taught his children how to be strong and resilient. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
M.D. is survived by his loving wife, Debra Slaughter; sons, James Slaughter, Willie (Edith) Williams, M.D. Slaughter II; daughters, Carolyn Slaughter, Coretta (Michael) Slaughter; sister, Mary Alice Mitchell; 32 grandchildren; and a host other relatives and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 2:00 PM at The Faith Center International Church, 3832 W. New Hampshire Street, Orlando with Pastor Alexis Stephens, officiating. Interment: Washington park Cemetery, Orlando.
