Obituary: Lou Julia Clark, 83, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Lou was born on July 16, 1935 in Coffee, Georgia to Lucinda A. and James A. Brooks. She was employed for several years as nurse. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lou is survived by her daughters, Janice Jackson-Smith, Phyllis (Israel) A. Simon, Carla (Kenneth) Anderson, Carol (Ronald) Williams; sons, James Jackson, Cyrus (Beth) Clark, Kemuel Clark; sisters, Ida Wells, Verlene Warnock, Lillian Simmons, Junaita Vernon, Gwendolyn (Larry) Pierce, Jacquelyn Gibson; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, 12:00 Noon at New Covenant Baptist Church, 2210 S. Rio Grande Avenue, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
