Obituary:
Lois Ann Bullard Johnson, 84, departed this life on Friday, August 22, 2025. Lois Ann was born on September 29, 1940 in Orlando, Florida, to Celia M. Bullard and Willie David Bullard.
Lois accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized into Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Orlando under the spiritual guidance of the late Reverend James Williams. In later years, she became a devoted member of Saint Mark AME Church, also in Orlando.
She received her education at Jones High School, graduating with the Class of 1958. Shortly after high school, Lois moved to Poughkeepsie, New York, where she continued her education and began her professional journey. Lois also performed professionally as a singer in New York area.
Lois later returned home to Florida and transitioned into the retail industry, where she continued to work until her retirement from JCPenney Corporation. Lois loved to travel in her spare time, often exploring new cities, counties and cultures whenever she had the chance. Lois loved singing and was a beautiful singer. Also loved entertaining and singing during the Friday and Sunday Events at her Assisted Living Facility.
She is survived by a host of family and friends who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11:00 AM at Washington Park Cemetery, 2600 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Daniel Ings, officiating.
