Obituary:
Linnette “Nettie” Johnson, 92, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Linnette was born on November 3, 1927 in Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies to Isadora and Sylvester Whyte. She worked as a seamstress for several years. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Nettie is survived by her daughters, Lesline (Renwick) Quashie, Merline (Waldemer) Gregory; sons, Eric (Phyllis) Riley, Keaton (Monica) Jones, Kenneth Jones, Mark (Annabelle) Johnson; brother, Joslyn Whyte; 27 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, 11:00AM at Pine Hills Community Church, 1305 N. Pine Hills Road, Orlando with Pastor Dwayne Lewis, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
